RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: 2 May 2026

This Returns and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Say It Savage (“we,” “us,” “our”), operated by Say It Savage.

By placing an order with Say It Savage, you agree to this policy.

 


1. Made-to-Order Products

All Say It Savage apparel is made to order through our fulfilment partner, Printful.

Because products are custom-made specifically for each order, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Ordering the wrong size
  • Ordering the wrong colour
  • Accidental purchases
  • Preference changes after ordering
  • Minor variations in print placement
  • Minor colour differences between on-screen images and printed products

Please carefully review sizing charts, product descriptions, and order details before completing your purchase.

 


2. Eligible Refunds, Replacements, or Store Credit

You may be eligible for a refund, replacement, or store credit if your product:

  • Arrives damaged
  • Contains a manufacturing defect
  • Is materially different from what was ordered
  • Is the wrong item, size, or design due to our fulfilment error
  • Is lost in transit where confirmed by the shipping carrier

Claims must be submitted within 14 days of confirmed delivery.

 


3. Reporting an Issue

To submit a claim, contact:

Your claim must include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the issue
  • Packaging photos where relevant

Failure to provide sufficient evidence may delay or prevent claim approval.

 


4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds, replacements, exchanges, or store credit will not be issued for:

  • Incorrect sizing selected by the customer
  • Failure to review sizing charts
  • Minor print alignment variations
  • Minor stitching inconsistencies within normal manufacturing tolerance
  • Slight colour differences caused by screen or device settings
  • Delivery delays caused by postal carriers
  • Customs delays
  • Import duties, VAT, taxes, or customs fees
  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
  • Unclaimed shipments
  • Refused deliveries

 


5. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping details are accurate at checkout.

If an order is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Incomplete address
  • Refused delivery
  • Failure to collect the parcel

The customer may be responsible for reshipping costs before the order can be re-sent.

Refunds are not guaranteed in these circumstances.

 


6. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your parcel appears lost or arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days of the tracking status being marked delivered.

We may investigate with the shipping carrier before approving a replacement or refund.

Carrier investigations may take time, and refund decisions may be delayed until the investigation is complete.

 


7. Refund Method

Where a refund is approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout, including transactions processed through:

  • Stripe
  • PayPal
  • Shopify Payments via Shopify

Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for funds to appear, depending on your payment provider.

 


8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a customer initiates a payment dispute or chargeback for a transaction that is valid under this policy, Say It Savage reserves the right to:

  • Submit order records
  • Tracking information
  • Delivery confirmation
  • Customer correspondence

…as evidence in response to the dispute.

We also reserve the right to:

  • Suspend future purchases
  • Refuse future service

 


9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including rights under Australian Consumer Law enforced by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Where a product experiences a major failure, you may be entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund as provided by law.
